Casemiro highlights two players as key to Manchester United’s future
Casemiro has identified Kobbie Mainoo and Matheus Cunha as the future of Manchester United. Since Michael Carrick took charge, Casemiro has lined up alongside Mainoo in every Premier League match. The pair initially developed a strong understanding under Erik ten Hag, and that connection has strengthened again in recent months.

Speaking to the club’s media, Casemiro said about Mainoo: “Kobbie is both the present and the future. I believe he is one of the best number 8s and could be for the next 12 years. He’s a player I really admire.
“He always wants the ball. Football doesn’t change your mentality, and Kobbie has shown his focus has never wavered. He just needs to maintain this level of concentration and continue performing the key role he plays now. What a player he is—truly outstanding.”
