Louisville, KY – The Louisville women’s basketball team made history on Sunday, winning their 20th consecutive game with a 75-62 victory over the Syracuse Orange.
The Cardinals, led by head coach Jeff Walz, have been dominating their opponents all season, with an average margin of victory of 22.5 points during their winning streak.
“We’re proud of the way our team has been playing,” said Walz. “We’ve been focused on taking it one game at a time, and it’s paid off. We’re excited to see where this season takes us.”
The win secured the top spot in the ACC standings for the Cardinals, who are now 14-0 in conference play.
