Campbell, who led the Lions to a surprising 11-6 record and a playoff berth, received 19 first-place votes and 283 total vote points. O’Connell, who guided the Vikings to a 12-5 record and a division title, received 25 first-place votes and 361 total vote points.

While Campbell did not win the award, he received widespread support from voters. Here’s a breakdown of the voting results:

– Dan Campbell (Lions): 19 first-place votes, 283 total vote points
– Andy Reid (Chiefs): 4 first-place votes, 119 total vote points
– Dan Quinn (Commanders): 6 first-place votes, 85 total vote points
– Sean Payton (Broncos): 2 first-place votes, 71 total vote points

The Associated Press released each voter’s ballot, providing insight into the voting process. Some notable voters who supported Campbell for Coach of the Year included:

– NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport
– Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer
– Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett

On the other hand, some voters who did not support Campbell for Coach of the Year included:

– NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo
– CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco
– Minneapolis Star Tribune’s Mark Craig

Despite falling short of the award, Campbell’s impressive season and the Lions’ resurgence have earned him widespread recognition and respect throughout the NFL.
