In a significant recruiting win for head coach Porter Moser and the Oklahoma Sooners, four-star small forward Malik Anderson has officially committed to the Sooners, giving Oklahoma a dynamic, high-upside addition to its 2025 class.

Anderson, a 6-foot-7 two-way standout from Duncanville High School in Texas, is ranked as the No. 9 small forward in the nation and among the top 60 overall players in the 2025 class. The Sooners coaching staff had prioritized Anderson for over a year, envisioning him as a future cornerstone of their rotation. He’s known for his defensive versatility, capable of guarding positions 1 through 4, and has recently elevated his offensive game, averaging 17.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists as a junior while shooting nearly 38% from beyond the arc.
