MONTREAL — In a bold move that signals their commitment to contend in the upcoming NHL season, the Montreal Canadiens’ front office has announced the signing of highly touted free agent forward Logan Frasier to a five-year, $32.5 million deal. The 25-year-old winger, known for his explosive speed and offensive creativity, is expected to immediately bolster the team’s top-six forward group as the Canadiens look to build on their recent playoff appearance.

The signing was orchestrated by Executive Vice President Jeff Gorton and General Manager Kent Hughes, who have been actively reshaping the roster over the past two seasons.
