WHO IS CRYPTA?

Formed in 2019 by ex-Nervosa members Fernanda Lira (vocals, bass) and Luana Dametto (drums), Crypta has emerged as one of the most promising death metal bands from South America. The band’s current lineup features Lira, Dametto, along with guitarists Tainá Bergamaschi and Jéssica di Falchi.

Crypta’s sound blends traditional death metal with hints of black metal and modern technicality, creating a dark and intense sonic experience. Their music is as relentless as it is emotionally powerful, often exploring themes of sorrow, trauma, personal strength, and societal decay.

Their debut album Echoes of the Soul (2021) introduced them to the global stage, but it was their sophomore effort Shades of Sorrow (2023) that catapulted them into the international spotlight, earning praise from critics and landing them on prestigious Billboard charts.

SHADES OF SORROW – AN EVOLUTION IN SOUND

Released via Napalm Records, Shades of Sorrow showcases the band’s growth in songwriting, technical execution, and thematic depth. The album blends ferocious riffs, blast-beat drumming, and feral growls with eerie melodic textures. It deals heavily with internal struggles, grief, and the process of healing, reflecting a more mature and introspective side of the band.

Songs like “Lord of Ruins,” “Trial of Traitors,” and “The Other Side of Anger” have become fan favorites, with music videos accumulating millions of views on YouTube. The album’s success has not only solidified their position in the Brazilian metal scene but has also opened doors across Europe and North America.

A GLOBAL BAND REPRESENTING BRAZIL

While the 2025 Brazil tour is a major focus, Crypta has already proven their status as an international act. In the past year, the band has completed European tours, played major festivals, and even announced a 27-date U.S. tour where they will perform alongside genre titans such as Hatebreed, Carcass, and Harms Way.

Their ability to represent Brazilian metal on global stages has earned them respect both locally and abroad. With female musicians leading the charge in a genre historically dominated by men, Crypta also symbolizes a refreshing change in heavy metal’s demographics.

FANS AND TICKETS

The band has urged fans to secure their tickets early, as several of the venues have limited capacity and are expected to sell out quickly. Tickets for all dates are available through the band’s official website and authorized ticketing platforms.

To ensure an immersive experience, Crypta promises a high-production tour with new visual elements and merchandise exclusive to the Brazil leg. Meet and greet packages, VIP upgrades, and limited edition collectibles will also be available for die-hard fans.

FINAL WORDS FROM THE BAND

In a recent social media post, frontwoman Fernanda Lira expressed her excitement:
“After spending so much time touring abroad, we’re beyond thrilled to finally bring ‘Shades of Sorrow’ to our Brazilian fans. This tour is a celebration of everything we’ve built together. Expect chaos, catharsis, and headbanging from the first note to the last.”

Drummer Luana Dametto added,
“We’ve put a lot of heart and soul into preparing this tour. Every city on the route has a special place in our journey, and we can’t wait to share this moment with everyone who’s supported us from day one.”

CONCLUSION

CRYPTA’s Shades of Sorrow Brasil 2025 tour is not just a series of shows—it’s a bold statement of the band’s artistic growth and a love letter to their home country. As they prepare to storm stages across Brazil, Crypta is poised to ignite a new chapter in Latin American metal history.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to their powerful sound, this tour promises an unforgettable live experience filled with energy, emotion, and the crushing force of one of the most exciting metal bands of this generation. Don’t miss your chance to witness Crypta live—this is Brazilian death metal at its finest.
