Detroit, MI – Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell fell short of winning the 2025 NFL Coach of the Year award, finishing second to Minnesota Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell.
Campbell, who led the Lions to a surprising 11-6 record and a playoff berth, received 19 first-place votes and 283 total vote points. O’Connell, who guided the Vikings to a 12-5 record and a division title, received 25 first-place votes and 361 total vote points.

– Sean Payton (Broncos): 2 first-place votes, 71 total vote points
The Associated Press released each voter’s ballot, providing insight into the voting process. Some notable voters who supported Campbell for Coach of the Year included:
