*JOHN FORCE ANNOUNCES SHOCKING SWITCH TO NASCAR, WILL DRIVE FOR HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS IN 2024*

Indianapolis, IN – In a stunning move, 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force announced today that he will be leaving the world of drag racing to pursue a career in NASCAR. Force, 74, will join Hendrick Motorsports in 2024, driving the iconic No. 48 Chevrolet.

The news sent shockwaves throughout the racing community, with many fans and fellow drivers expressing their surprise and admiration for Force’s bold decision.

“I’ve always been a fan of NASCAR, and I’ve always wanted to try my hand at it,” Force said during a press conference at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. “I’m excited to join Hendrick Motorsports and drive for one of the most iconic teams in the sport.”

Force, who has won 149 NHRA events and 16 championships, will bring his signature aggressive driving style to the NASCAR Cup Series. He will join a talented roster of drivers at Hendrick Motorsports, including Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, and William Byron.

Force’s decision to leave NHRA has sparked speculation about his future in the sport. While he has not ruled out a return to drag racing, he is committed to making a successful transition to NASCAR.

“I’m not getting any younger, and I want to make the most of this opportunity,” Force said. “I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I’m grateful to have the support of my family, my team, and my fans.”
