*JOHN FORCE RETIRES FROM NHRA, SELLS RACING TEAM TO UNLIKELY BUYER: Elon Musk Takes Over John Force Racing*

Yorba Linda, CA – In a shocking move that has sent shockwaves through the NHRA community, legendary drag racing driver John Force announced his retirement from professional racing and the sale of his iconic racing team, John Force Racing.

The buyer? None other than billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

The news was announced at a press conference held at John Force Racing’s headquarters in Yorba Linda, California. Force, who has won 16 NHRA championships and 149 events throughout his career, explained that he had been considering retirement for some time and felt that the time was right to pass the torch to a new generation.

“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished at John Force Racing, but I feel like it’s time for me to step aside and let someone else take the reins,” Force said. “I couldn’t be happier to have Elon Musk taking over the team. He’s a visionary and a true innovator, and I know he’ll take John Force Racing to new heights.”

Musk, who is best known for his roles as CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Inc., said that he had been a fan of drag racing for years and saw an opportunity to bring his expertise in electric powertrains to the sport.

“I’ve always been fascinated by the speed and power of drag racing, and I think there’s a lot of potential for innovation in the sport,” Musk said. “I’m excited to work with the team at John Force Racing to bring electric powertrains to the NHRA and make the sport more sustainable and environmentally friendly.”

The move is seen as a major shake-up in the NHRA, and fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of the new-look John Force Racing team.

“Elon Musk is a game-changer, and I think he’s going to bring a whole new level of excitement and innovation to the sport,” said NHRA announcer Bob Frey. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to see what the future holds for John Force Racing.”

The team is expected to make its debut at the upcoming NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California.
