In June 2024, drag racing legend John Force experienced a harrowing crash at Virginia Motorsports Park that left fans and the motorsports community in shock. The 76-year-old NHRA icon was piloting his PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car when a catastrophic engine failure propelled him into a violent collision at over 300 mph. The impact sent his car into the guardwall, ricocheted across the track, and ended in a fiery blaze. Despite the severity of the crash, Force remained conscious and communicated with safety personnel before being airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Following the accident, Force was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and underwent extensive rehabilitation. His recovery journey has been both physically and mentally challenging. In a recent interview, Force candidly shared, “Rehab is the… I got most of the work done.
