*NHRA ICON JOHN FORCE REGAINS PASSION, SAYS HE’S ‘REBORN’*

Pomona, CA – NHRA legend John Force has been competing at the highest level for over four decades, but the 16-time world champion says he’s feeling a renewed sense of passion and excitement about the sport.

Force, 72, has been open about his struggles in recent years, both on and off the track. However, after a strong start to the 2023 NHRA season, Force says he’s feeling “reborn” and ready to take on the best drivers in the sport.

“I feel alive again,” Force exclaimed. “I’ve been doing this for a long time, but this year, something just clicked. I’m having fun again, and that’s what it’s all about.”

Force’s resurgence has been evident in his performance on the track. He’s already earned two wins this season and is currently second in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series standings.

While Force acknowledges that he’s not as young as he used to be, he says his experience and determination are still major assets.

“I may not be as quick on the tree as I used to be, but I’ve got the knowledge and the know-how to make up for it,” Force said. “And let me tell you, I’m hungrier than ever. I want to win, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get back on top.”

Force’s team, John Force Racing, has also undergone some changes in recent years. His daughter, Brittany Force, has become a major force in the sport, earning multiple world championships and establishing herself as one of the top drivers in the NHRA.

John Force says he’s proud of the way his team has come together and is excited to see what the future holds.

“We’ve got a great team, and we’re all working together towards the same goal,” Force said. “I’m excited to see what the rest of the season holds. We’re going to go out there and give it everything we’ve got.”

With his renewed passion and determination, John Force is once again a force to be reckoned with in the NHRA. And at 72 years young, he’s proving that age is just a number when it comes to competing at the highest level.
