## Braves Desperate for Recovery as They Enter Home Opener
The Atlanta Braves are facing a daunting challenge as they enter their home opener against Miami, still searching for their first win of the season. With a dismal 0-7 record, they’re the only winless team in the majors, and manager Brian Snitker is growing increasingly desperate for a turnaround.

### Struggles Continue
The Braves’ woes began with a four-game sweep by San Diego, followed by three consecutive losses in Los Angeles. Their offense has been anemic, scoring only 14 runs in seven games, with a paltry .151 batting average. Key players like Matt Olson, Austin Riley, and Michael Harris II are struggling to find their rhythm, with each hitting below .200.

### Injuries and Suspensions
To make matters worse, the Braves have lost two key players: Jurickson Profar, their leadoff hitter, was suspended 80 games for performance-enhancing drug use, and right-hander Reynaldo Lopez was placed on the 15-day injured list due to an inflamed right shoulder.

### Snitker’s Frustration
Snitker is candid about the team’s struggles, acknowledging the pain of their winless start. “I wouldn’t wish this on anybody honestly… what we’re going through is tough. Very tough.” He’s shaken up the lineup, giving Nick Allen and Jarred Kelenic starts, but the results remain elusive ¹.
