“I really didn’t want to go,” Palmer explained. “I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am at Manchester City, and I didn’t want to give up on my dreams here.”

Palmer, who has been impressive for Manchester City this season, stated that he was flattered by Chelsea’s interest, but felt that staying at the Etihad Stadium was the best decision for his career.
