*ST. LOUIS BLUES PULL OFF STUNNING TRADE, Acquiring Superstar Goalie from Arch-Rivals, Chicago Blackhawks*

ST. LOUIS, MO – In a shocking move that has sent shockwaves throughout the NHL, the St. Louis Blues have acquired superstar goalie, Marc-Andre Fleury, from their arch-rivals, the Chicago Blackhawks.

The trade, which was announced earlier today, sends Blues’ prospect goalie, Joel Hofer, and a conditional 2024 first-round draft pick to the Blackhawks in exchange for Fleury.

“We are thrilled to add a player of Marc-Andre’s caliber to our roster,” said Blues General Manager, Doug Armstrong. “He is a proven winner and one of the top goalies in the league. We believe he will be a great fit for our team and help us compete for another Stanley Cup championship.”

Fleury, a three-time Stanley Cup champion and six-time NHL All-Star, has been one of the top goalies in the league for over a decade. He has a career record of 522-276-66, with a 2.58 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.

The acquisition of Fleury is a significant boost to the Blues’ lineup, which has been struggling to find consistency in goal this season. With Fleury on board, the Blues are now well-positioned to make a deep run in the playoffs.
