Arsenal player makes comeback in first start since injury
Arsenal’s injury situation received a welcome boost over the weekend, as one of the club’s young talents made a successful return while out on loan.
Mikel Arteta has been handed encouraging news in recent days, with several first-team players either back in training or set to return soon. Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice both withdrew from international duty as a precaution, with reports suggesting they could feature in early April fixtures, including the FA Cup tie against Southampton.

Meanwhile, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Leandro Trossard, and Jurrien Timber have all faced minor issues during the international break, though initial assessments indicate none are serious. This has allowed Arteta to manage players’ workloads carefully ahead of a crucial stretch across multiple competitions.
Other players nearing full fitness include Noni Madueke, who had a knee concern while on international duty, and Martin Odegaard, recovering from a minor issue. Their returns could prove vital as Arsenal push on in both domestic and European competitions.
