The FCMB Flexxtern Internship Program is intended to empower young people by providing them with opportunities to participate in internships and access to a mentor network through our partner organizations.

A further way in which the program will improve the lives of young people is by encouraging them to pursue their aspirations and hopes.

In the event that you participate in the #FCMBFlexxtern contest, you will be given the chance to start your professional life out on a strong footing by participating in a paid internship with FCMB or one of our partners for a period of three months.

The FCMB Flexxtern Internship Program is an initiative that was developed by First City Monument Bank, a prominent financial institution in Nigeria, in collaboration with other important enterprises in the country.

Our mission is to empower young people by providing them with opportunities to participate in internships and making them accessible to a network of mentors through the organizations that we collaborate with.

As a prerequisite:

In order to be eligible for the FCMB Flexxtern Internship Program, you are required to fulfill the following requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry in order to be eligible to participate in The Contest.
At the time of application, the applicant must either be a recent college graduate older than 30 years old or a recent college graduate who is not younger than 18 years old.
Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Ordinary National Diploma, or Higher National Diploma or its equivalent at the time of registration.
The decision that FCMB and its Partner Organizations make on any and all topics pertaining to the competition will be final and will be binding on participants in the competition.
At no point during or after the competition, the FCMB and its Partner Organizations will take responsibility for any accommodations, transportation, or logistics that may be required.
It is required that the applicant be a recent graduate, having graduated no later than July 2023, and have studied in any of the following academic categories, although this list is not exhaustive:
Humanities, Arts, and the Law
The Social Sciences
Advanced Engineering and Applied Sciences
The decision that the FCMB makes on any and all aspects of the competition will be final and can be considered binding on all candidates.
It is not possible to transfer prizes that were won during the contest.
All of the prizes that were won cannot be converted into cash.
There are a variety of banners and promotional materials that highlight the deadlines for the contest, which include the deadlines for submitting entries and the deadlines for voting.
Following the conclusion of the competition, a verification of educational and other credentials will be carried out, and FCMB or any of its partners may make use of the results. If it is discovered that an applicant has presented documents or certificates that have been forged, that applicant will be immediately disqualified.
FCMB reserves the right to utilize any and all creative assets, including photographs, films, graphics, and other content relevant to the contest, in the marketing of its Flexx product as well as any other FCMB product during and after The Contest. This includes the applicant’s own creative assets.
Applicants acknowledge that they are willing to be bound by these terms and conditions for the duration of this competition.
Any and all losses, expenses, or damages that may be suffered or incurred by any of the applicants as a result of entering the contest are not covered by FCMB and its Partner Organizations. The only exception to this rule is if the losses, expenses, or damages are attributable to FCMB’s carelessness or misconduct.
Due to the fact that the selection of preference industry during the application process does not necessarily equal to automatic placement, FCMB maintains the right to place Flexxterns with partner organizations based on availability. Following the completion of the internship, FCMB will not be held liable for any additional participation on placements with partner organizations.
Applicants who meet the requirements are subject to personal responsibility for their acts and will not be considered to be FCMB employees or agents.
Applicants are required to maintain the confidentiality of any information that is obtained and is considered to be secret. They are not permitted to disclose this information to any third party without first receiving consent from the Financial Conduct Management Board (FCMB) or the partner organization.
